Recent update on the work of Stratford Town Centre Teams

ROBBERY PATROLS ARRESTS

Alongside our usual proactive patrols, Stratford Town Centre Team have been carrying out dedicated proactive robbery patrols throughout this year – which has included intelligence-led high visibility patrols, and we have achieved not far off 100 arrests since January on this work, disrupting serious crime in Stratford.

RECENT ARRESTS

In what was a busy week last week, we arrested several suspects for offences including Stalking, Shoplifting, Assault and Criminal Damage. 

A POSITIVE RESULT FROM COURT

Some other good news from court recently: earlier in the summer, eagle-eyed Town Centre Team officers spotted a male acting suspiciously crouched between two cars near Maryland Station. He was detained for a search and found with a knife in his coat pocket. He was arrested and charged, receiving at court last week 9 months in prison and a fine.
